Designed to offer guests an exclusive and authentic stay, the property reflects a harmonious balance between local tradition and contemporary architectural sensibility.

Set within two acres of private olive groves in the heart of the Valle d’Itria, Casanguilla is built in traditional tufo stone and finished with the ancient scialbatura di calce lime-wash technique. The result is a timeless residence that blends effortlessly into its natural surroundings while expressing a minimalist and sophisticated aesthetic.

Sustainability is central to Casanguilla’s philosophy. The villa is thermally efficient and powered entirely by solar energy, ensuring modern comfort with a reduced environmental impact.

The property is composed of a main body and two independent guest accommodations, offering privacy and flexibility. The main house features a refined living area, a dining room, a separate fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom, and a bathroom. Two additional bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and independent entrance, complete the estate: one located in a spacious contemporary annex, the other housed in a beautifully restored ancient lamia with a characteristic barrel vault, creating a more intimate and evocative atmosphere.

Outdoor living is at the heart of the Casanguilla experience. A sleek, minimalist 40-sqm swimming pool is perfectly integrated into the landscape, surrounded by sun loungers designed for moments of pure relaxation. An outdoor kitchen and dining area provide the ideal setting for convivial al fresco meals, immersed in the quiet rhythm of the countryside.

Terms of Letting (Short-term lease pursuant to Decree Law 50/2017)

• A confirmatory payment of 50% of the total rental amount is required at the time of booking
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days prior to arrival
• Minimum stay: 5 nights – except for July and August 

Upon arrival, guests will be required to sign the rental contract and house rules.

As customary for all our properties, a security deposit of € 1.000 is required one week prior to arrival. The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, subject to inspection, minus any deductions for damages or losses. Payment must be made by bank transfer.

Casanguilla is located in the heart of the Valle d’Itria countryside, just minutes from the iconic white town of Ostuni. Ideally positioned between the Valle d’Itria and Northern Salento, it offers the perfect base for discovering the most authentic side of Puglia.

Within five minutes, guests can reach the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic’s rocky coves and the WWF-protected nature reserve of Torre Guaceto. In less than 30 minutes, it is possible to explore historic villages rich in culture and charm, including Cisternino, Locorotondo, and Alberobello with its iconic trulli, as well as the renowned coastal towns of Polignano a Mare and Monopoli.
