Cancellation and Covid-19
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY STAY?
If the client for any reason decides to cancel the reservation, the following cancellation policies will apply. Cancellations must be communicated in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cancellation fee will be applied as follows
– from the time of booking until 31 days before arrival 40% of the total amount of the rental price;
– less than 30 days before arrival 100% of the total amount of the rental price.
If the client asks to change the rental period, it may be possible to transfer the amount paid to the new reservation, but the communication must be made at least 30 days before arrival.
If the Client (the person responsible who made the reservation) is unable to reach the property due to official local restrictions that limit access to Puglia for vacations, the parties agree that within 14 days maximum from the date of arrival, it will be possible to cancel the reservation free of charge without penalty.
The client will therefore receive a full refund net of an agency fee for the fixed costs of the practice or can on request receive a voucher of equal amount to be used within and not later than 18 months.

HOW CAN I PROTECT MYSELF FROM LOSING THE AMOUNT PAID IN CASE OF CANCELLATION?
In order to better protect the customer, regarding the amount paid, which in case of cancellation could be lost due to the penalties provided, Apulia Exclusive Houses strongly recommends that customers take out an insurance policy.
EXTRAORDINARY MEASURES TAKEN TO DEAL WITH THE SPREAD OF COVID-19
Prior to arrival, customers will receive an email with a link from the Apulia Region where they can self report, in order to ensure a tracking of visitors as an act of prevention and security for AntiCovid19 measures.

For the 2021 season, it is also mandatory, 48 hours prior to arrival, to take a swab in your home country, attach it to the Self-Reporting Form and take a copy with you when you travel.
Upon arrival we encourage our guests to inform us as soon as possible in case of any symptoms related to COVID and we will provide them with the necessary on-site assistance.

PREVENTION AND SAFETY IN VILLA CLEANING
In reference to the safety and prevention of the spread of the COVID19 virus, we would like to inform all our customers that our cleaners will, at each change of guests, thoroughly air the rooms, clean and disinfect every surface/object in the house (including mattresses, cabinets, bathroom fittings, dishes, (including mattresses, closets, bathroom fixtures, dishes, utensils, stoves, appliances, outdoor barbecues, if any) with disinfectants approved by the relevant government agencies, and in some cases with chemicals to eliminate any bacteria on surfaces such as door/window knobs, keys, remote controls, air conditioner filters and hoods and any other object that may be a vehicle for viruses and bacteria.
All fabrics are washed at high temperatures before the arrival of guests and if this is not possible, they will be washed with disinfectants approved by the Italian Ministry of Health. We clean and disinfect air filters at every change.
